On 1st April 2026, Mrs Ellen McMillan will take over sole management of WEETECH GmbH.

From 18 to 21 November 2025, WEETECH was represented at productronica in Munich – the world's leading trade fair for electronics development and manufacturing.

Under the motto ‘Wired for Success: Testing Innovations’, we presented our latest test systems and software solutions that make testing processes smarter, faster and more efficient.

Japan Automatic Machine Co., Ltd (J.A.M) and WEETECH GmbH (WEETECH) have agreed a Global Technology Partnership. The Partnership will result in a global offering of outstanding solutions for the wire processing stripping, crimping, and testing world.

By April 1, 2024, Simac Electronics bv will take over the distribution of WEETECH GmbH in the Benelux countries. The business areas of Simac Electronics and WEETECH complement each other perfectly and will enable us to further expand our presence in this region and to give you the best support.

A new service form for repair enquiries is now open to our customers and support partners. The form can be used to enter or upload repair requests and error logs in a self-explanatory manner.

After a successful anniversary summer party with all employees and their partners and families in July, we are now looking back with gratitude and happiness to our anniversary event with customers, partners and suppliers on 21 September 2023.

WEETECH is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. Since its foundation in 1973, the company, which specialises in electronic test systems, has established itself as a globally active company and currently employs 125 people worldwide, around 100 of whom work at the Wertheim site. Last Friday (21.07.2023), the management thanked its employees with a big anniversary celebration.

From 13-15 June we were exhibitors at the Automotive Testing Expo in Stuttgart for the first time. The Automotive Testing Expo is the world's leading international trade fair for all aspects of automotive testing, development and validation technologies. It takes place every year in Detroit, Shanghai and Stuttgart.

WEETECH GmbH started 50 years ago with three employees, today there are 125.

Some of the 125 employees have been supporting the company's success for many years through valuable and loyal work. At the beginning of April, 20 jubilees were honored for ten to 40 years with the company.

On April 1st, 2023, Sedat Sezgün will replace the current interim managing director Bernd Härtlein and will manage the business of WEETECH GmbH together with Martin Gehrig.

In October of last year, Halma PLC acquired all shares in WEETECH GmbH. Since the takeover, Martin Gehrig, Managing Director Administration, Production and Development, and Bernd Härtlein, Interim Managing Director Marketing and Sales, have managed the company's fortunes. From April, Sedat Sezgün will take over the helm in marketing and sales, thus completing the permanent dual leadership.
